Susan has worked in stained glass for over 25 years, ever since she was given a huge wooden box full of glass scraps from a relocating shop. About 7 years ago she discovered fused glass and ever since has combined fused pieces with traditional leaded stained glass to produce glass works that either hang in windows, on walls or can be placed in stands to function as three dimensional art. Her largest work has been a 5’ x 28’ stained glass window for a local church and her smallest work is in jewelry using fused glass beads and sterling silver wire. Each year she produces limited series of fused glass holiday ornaments.
