Having begun right out of college as a Scientific Illustrator, most of Susan’s artwork over the years remained very representational. Having worked primarily in pen and ink as an illustrator, though moving to soft pastels later on, she is still most comfortable rendering very representational work. In recent years color pencils have become a medium of choice for very detailed work.
